Ken features a massive range of articulation, as well as interchangeable hands and dragon punch accessory. He’s clad in his sleeveless red karate suit, sparring gauntlets. Just as in the game, Ken resembles his training partner Ryu in both general appearance and fighting style.
As a kid, a spoiled and selfish Ken was sent to Japan to study under the renowned master Gouken. Ken became a friend and training partner to Gouken’s adopted son, Ryu. Eventually Ken returned to the US and signed on for various martial arts tournaments. After his victory, Ken returned to Japan and to his horror witnessed Gouken’s death at the hands of Akuma. Ken was subsequently defeated by Akuma. Eventually Ken caught up to Ryo, the latter of whom had since won the first Street Fighter tournament. Ken did enter the second Street Fighter tournament, and after a little helpful goading on the part of Ryu, regained his fighting focus.
