Princess Ashe appears to be aesthetically-articulated to some degree. Her elaborate mini-skirt outfit is overlapped by pieces of ornate armor. As is typical of the character type, she makes you think of apple-scented shampoo, pink bubblegum and high school cheerleaders---while simultaneously being armed with a super-stylized sword that appears to measure three times her body weight.
This sweet 19-year old is the heir to the throne of Dalmasca and leader of the Dalmascan resistance. Having survived the death of her father and brothers, she yearns to revenge herself against the Archadian invaders that have usurped her kingdom. Dalmasca, having existed as more of a passive element during the wars occurring between Archadia and Rozarria, has been cruelly assimilated by Archadia. Ashe’s noble quest to liberate her homeland is assisted by allies such as the freakishly androgynous street urchin Vaan.
