Originating as the renowned Hanzo Hasashi of the Shirai Ryu Clan, Scorpion enters the service of the necromancer Quan Chi and is subsequently butchered by Sub-Zero. Scorpion is later resurrected by Quan Chi and is entered in Shang Tsung’s Mortal Kombat tournament, enabling Scorpion to avenge himself and his clan against Sub-Zero. Scorpion’s demonic power enables him to perform gory feats such as the Bloody Spear and the Hellfire Punch; his Fatalities include the ‘Toasty’ move and the Spear Slice.
