Presented in blister card packaging, each NECA Hellraiser figure measures approximately 6” tall, features limited articulation, and is accompanied by character-specific accessories (if applicable).
This set is to contain the following:
1x Butterball
1x Angelique
1x Skinless Julia
1x Surgeon
Butterball: The leather-clad Butterball is a morbidly obese figure with oddly incongruous sunglasses obscuring sewn-shut eyes and an immense vertical abdominal spread open by flesh-rending hooks. In life, Butterball’s monstrous gluttony and malcontentedness leads him to seek out and solve the Lamentation Configuration. Expecting a sublime reward, Butterball is instead encased in his agonizing leather harness and is placed under the command of Pinhead. Butterball appears in the first two Hellraiser movies as a background character. In the second movie he and his fellow Cenobites are abruptly killed by the Doctor Cenobite.
Angelique: Comparatively less gruesome in appearance than some of the other Cenobites, Angelique retains her facial beauty, although her scalp is peeled open, split, and connected by flesh-splitting hooks to both shoulders. After completing the Lamentation Configuration, Phillipe Lemarchand sells the artifact to occult enthusiast Duc De L’Isle. As part of the ritual required to anchor the Configuration to the Earthly realm, L’Isle sacrifices a girl whose body is, in turn, inhabited by Angelique, demonic daughter of Hell’s pervading deity Leviathan. She and Pinhead hatch a scheme to create an immense portal to hell utilizing a building inadvertently built in imitation of the Lamentation Configuration.
Skinless Julia: Initially unfaithful to her husband Larry with Larry’s brother Frank, Julia is elated with an accidental blood splatter enables Frank to escape hell in the form of a skinless zombie. Julia leads victims to Frank, enabling him (Frank) to reconstitute himself in stages. Julia is ultimately sent to Hell along with Frank. In the second movie she escapes Hell in the same fashion as Frank, assisted by corrupt psychologist Channard. Julia leads Channard to Hell, introducing him to Leviathan, before betraying him. She is later repaid when the skin is ripped from her body and used by Kirsty as a disguise to trick Channard/Doctor Cenobite.
Surgeon: Channard is led to hell and quickly betrayed by Julia, however Channard’s seeming destruction results in his transformation into the Doctor Cenobite, a malformed creature figure permanently linked to Leviathan by a hovering umbilicus burrowed into his skull. Kirsty’s desperate attempt to escape damnation (again) by reminding Pinhead, Chatterer, Butterball and Female Cenobite of their former humanity is interrupted when the Doctor bursts into the room and demands custody of Kirsty. Somewhat persuaded by Kirsty’s pleas, the four Cenobites defend her against the Doctor, and the Doctor almost leisurely destroys the four Cenobites, reducing them to their human forms. The Doctor later meets his own ghastly demise when he locates Julia---only to learn that she is actually Kirsty wearing Julia’s discarded skin suit.
