Measuring approximately 6 ¾” to 7” tall, each Terminator Collection Series 03 figure features multiple points of articulation and character-specific weapons/accessories, and is presented in clamshell packaging.
Terminator Collection 7” Figure Series 03: Set of 3 includes the following figures:
1x Kyle Reese
1x T-800 (Tanker Truck Pursuit)
1x T-1000 (Liquid Nitrogen)
Kyle Reese: Depicting the 1984 from the original Terminator, Kyle Reese is equipped with a shotgun and owns a photo of Sarah Connor. Kyle Reece is dispatched by the future John Connor to protect the latter’s mother, Sarah Connor, against the T-800 deployed by Skynet. Sarah initially mistakes Reece for a deranged attacker. Describing a post-apocalyptic future dominated by Skynet’s human-eradicating Terminators, Reece confesses that the 1984-era weaponry at his disposal may be inadequate to destroy the T-800, however he chips away at the Terminator with an assault of firearms, ultimately succeeding in reducing the T-800 to its fearsome endoskeletal state. Reece uses a pipe bomb to partially incapacitate the T-800, (Reece) sacrificing himself in the process.
T-800 (Tanker Truck Pursuit): The T-800 (Tanker Truck Pursuit) features interchangeable heads and battle-damaged appearance. Durable and coordinated, the most efficient of Skynet’s shock troopers, the T-800 is capable of operating any type of handheld weaponry, is provided with an extensive data base, and is allowed free deliberation within the confines of a mission objective. Eventually a specialized version of the T-800 is developed to support cultivated skin tissue. Kyle Reece is dispatched by the future John Connor to protect the latter’s mother, Sarah Connor, against the T-800 deployed by Skynet. Sarah initially mistakes Reece for a deranged attacker. After the Terminator tracks Reece and Sarah to the motel where the pair have taken refuge, wounding Reece, the tanker truck pursuit commences, an incendiary sequence which results in the destruction of the Terminator’s remaining human exterior.
T-1000 (Liquid Nitrogen): This version features a special paint job designed to recreate the T-1000’s temporarily incapacitating nitrogen-freezing. Initially failing to eliminate Resistance leader John Connor prior to conception, Skynet modifies its plan by sending the T-1000, an advanced prototype, into the past to track and kill the teenage John Connor. The mimetic metal alloy construction enables it to easily mimic any ordinary human, and enables it to sustain immense damage, however the T-1000 is only capable of molding itself into rudimentary weapons such as bludgeons and blades. For the bulk of the movie the T-1000 retains its policeman default as a means of gaining the trust of regular humans, extrapolating information, and anonymously touring the ruin left in the wake of each cataclysmic battle.
