In Gremlins 2: The New Batch, a new set of Gremlins, led by the evil Stripe-equivalent Mohawk, infiltrate Clamp Center office building and quickly succeed in multiplying. Those not counted among the original set of Gremlins, or among the ones genetically reconfigured in the Clamp laboratory, eventually fall under the loose command of the Brain Gremlin, who plans to civilize his fellow Gremlins and lead them out of the building. The Gremlins are led into a trap in the building’s lobby, and although the plan fails, the majority of the Gremlins are destroyed via the Electric Gremlin.
