Series 02 Dream Warriors Freddy: A Nightmare on Elm Street 7” Figure Series 02: Dream Warriors Freddy includes a replica of the Elm Street house, the chest of souls, two interchangeable heads, and a removable hat. Freddy’s perverse appetites had earned him death by fire at the hands of outraged parents; in death, however, Freddy was provided with the ability to kill his victims by entering their nightmares. In A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, Freddy preys on a group of teenagers whose attempted suicides have landed them in the Westin Hills psychiatric hospital. Just as Freddy begins to gain the upper hand, Freddy’s nemesis, the plucky Nancy Thompson, is hired as a new psychiatrist. Nancy petitions for the introduction of the dream-suppressing Hypnocil, and ultimately teaches the teenagers to defend themselves against Freddy by becoming aggrandized versions of themselves in their dreams. Even while Nancy enters a shared dream with the remaining teenagers, her colleague, Dr. Gordon recruit’s a reluctant, drunken Donald Thompson to locate and consecrate Freddy Krueger’s mortal remains. The cowardly Freddy assumes the form of Donald Thompson to trick Nancy and kill her, before meeting his own apparent destruction as his remains are doused with holy water and formally consecrated.
Series 02 Dream Master Freddy: A Nightmare on Elm Street 7” Figure Series 02: Dream Master Freddy features the bodies and arms emerging from the Chest of Souls - with 8 different articulated arms!! In life, Freddy’s perverse appetites had earned him death by fire at the hands of outraged parents; in death, however, Freddy was provided with the ability to kill his victims by entering their nightmares. In A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master, the survivors from Part 3, Kristen, Joey and Kincaid, have been discharged from the Westin Hills psychiatric hospital. Their return to high school has expanded the pool of potential victims for Freddy. Cannon fodder, Joey and Kinkaid are quickly killed; Kristen is killed subsequently, though not before imparting the ability to draw others into her dreams to the movie’s primary protagonist, Alice. Alice accrues the special ability of each teenager killed by Freddy. During the final showdown, Freddy is defeated when Alice purges him of the myriad victims’ souls trapped within him.
