Street Fighter IV Series 01: Ryu appears to have fabric shirt and headband, and is geared for extensive poseability. Having learned the Ansatsuken technique from Master Gouken, Ryu fought his way through the first World Warrior tournament, working his way up to the tournament’s current champion, Sagat. Ryu succeeded in defeating Sagat, scarring his chest and sorely effacing Sagat’s warrior pride. Eventually Ryu met the likes of Sakura and E. Honda, encountered Sagat again, and eventually ran afoul of Bison. He fought in a number of tournaments, impressing most of his rivals with his strength and perseverance.
