The Conan The Barbarian Series 01: Set of 2 Figures includes War Paint Conan and Pit Fight Fighter Conan; both versions are derived from the original Conan the Barbarian film. The Conan figures include theme-specific weapons/accessories and environmental display bases.
War Paint Conan is equipped with a sword and is accompanied by a diorama-style display base. This is the camo version of Conan as he appears during the stealthy infiltration of one of Thulsa Doom’s demonic fortresses. Joined by Valeria and Subotai, Conan inadvertently witnesses a narcotic sacrificial ceremony in the process of looting the opulent premises and brazenly stealing the fabled gargantuan jewel known as the Eye of the Serpent. Conan is forced to kill the jewel’s sentinel, a gigantic serpent, which is a pet belonging to Thulsa Doom’s lieutenant, Thorgrim.
Pit Fighter Conan is equipped with cestus-type gauntlets and is accompanied by a diorama-style display base. Having persevered against the rigors of the monotonous Wheel of Pain, Conan, having reached adulthood, is trained by exotic war masters and is utilized by his owner as a gladiatorial fighter. Though initially confused and reluctant to fight, Conan’s violent savagery is quickly provoked. He makes mincemeat of a handful of adversaries, learning to take solemn pride in his bloody victories, before he is unexpectedly released by his owner and left to his own devices.
