These Mini Statues or “Staction” Figures are skewed exactly to the aesthetic and scale of the discontinued toy line. They all come with intricately-sculpted display bases, as well as accessories and/or weapons. The Series 6 Set of 3 includes the following:
Jitsu: Evil Master of Martial Arts: Armed with a giant-sized katana, this elaborately updated version of Jitsu features armor vaguely reminiscent of Mandarin Spawn. The new Jitsu is endowed with a super aggrandized version of the former Jitsu’s golden hand; this new appendage is a mechanical monstrosity armed with fingers large enough to pick the nose of a European Hippopotamus. Jitsu’s background material is thin, although he did make one unnamed and unidentified appearance on the original cartoon, and was vaguely implied to be the rival of Fisto.
Mosquitor: Evil Energy Draining Insectoid: Mosquitor is a slouched malingerer cybernetically-armored and equipped with a barbed bloodsucking proboscis. Mosquitor’s weapon, a kind of siphoning gun, is hose-linked to his back-mounted twin-capsule blood tank. His chestplate is inlaid with a window shaped to resemble the bat-winged emblem of the Evil Horde. Mosquitor’s mini-comic originally portrayed him as a cybernetic monster developed by Hordak for the purpose of siphoning the Sorceress’ life force---a purpose validated by the original Mosquitor’s bloodsucking/pumping gimmick.
Battle Armor He-Man: This version of He-Man boasts a windswept look, and is equipped with his battle axe and Power Sword. He-Man’s power harness is replaced by a silver-plated Battle Armor breastplate similar to that of the original Battle Armor He-Man in appearance if not in function. The original Battle Armor He-Man featured a battle damage gimmick. It goes without saying that Skeletor, refusing to be outdone in the arena of MOTU variants, simultaneously emerged with his own purple and black version of the Battle Armor feature.
