This version of Michael Myers is reminiscent of the original, although his grease-smeared mechanic’s jumpsuit is presented in a state of mild disrepair and his colorless corpselike Shatner-esque mask appears to be pretty filthy. The Michael Myers figure should presumably be equipped with his butcher knife. The Halloween remake will purportedly feature a version of Michael fixated less on the concept of silent unstoppable personified evil and more on the concept of a flawed psychopathic killer. The remake storyline seems to flesh out Myer’s childhood a little more---having Michael talk and interact with others prior to his stay at Smith’s Grove Sanitarium. The remake features a variation of Michael’s escape from the asylum and subsequent return to his hometown to relocate his younger sister.
