The Legendary Heroes version of Savage Dragon appears to be approximate to the Marvel Legends line in terms of scale and articulation. Sporting the Greco-Roman look, Savage Dragon is equipped with a durable apple-green hide. His humanlike face is contrasted by the high-reaching web-arched dorsal fin crowning his skull.
Initially, Savage Dragon became a Chicago PD operative in order to direct his superhuman powers against local threats like the Vicious Circle gang and the Overlord and other adversaries beyond the Chicago jurisdiction---the latter accounting for a number of widely varying alliances and crossovers. The Dragon’s eventually revealed origin gave him an extraterrestrial background as a former tyrant with a stripped memory and subsequent overload of television broadcast-borne Earth culture.
