"I am a Jedi, like my father before me."
And a powerful Jedi he was. The only one capable in the end of handling the immense power of the Dark Side without turning, facing his fears and being instrumental in the down fall of both Sith Master and Apprentice. Our first Luke Skywalker outfit is appropriately from Return of the Jedi and shows our Jedi in all his glory, as he dons the more traditional garb worn during the Republic's reign.
Nothing was spared in the months needed to source material, perfect cut-patterns, painstakingly custom dye and reproduce the intricate detail on what on the surface is a simple outfit- compared to other Jedi. Every layer worn on screen is replicated and includes the cloak, shirt, vest, pants, single leather glove and leather belt with accessories.
The reference material available was exhaustive and the expertise of the Lucasfilm archive staff invaluable in getting each detail correct, even the ones not visible on screen. The best materials have been used, and even the weight of the fabrics have been custom dyed and matched. This ensemble does not include the boots, which are available separately.
