Presumably this Airwolf replica would be the next best thing to having Ernest Borgnine and Jan Michael Vincent sitting in your living room. Features listed on the back of the box include the following: main rotor & rear rotar, chain guns & cannon, sunburst, landing legs, door ADF pod. The helicopter’s electronically-powered main and rear rotar functions require 2 AAA batteries. The show stemmed from the adventures of the supersonic helicopter Airwolf, manned by Vietnam veteran and freelance pilot Stringfellow Hawke on behalf of a super-covert extension of the CIA. Airwolf’s main strength, apart from modifications and weaponry, was the fact the helicopter could represent itself as a harmless non-military manifestation.
