DC Mini Mez-Itz The modern Superman is wearing his classic blue and red costume, complete with ankle-length cape. As a surviving son of Krypton, Superman’s continuing exposure to the yellow sun has imbued him with the standard arsenal of super-powers including flight-capability, heat-vision, invulnerability, drastically heightened senses, and vast superhuman strength.
Darkseid is dressed in his classic blue tunic-like uniform. Darkseid’s monstrous strength is made evident by his almost casual resistance of Superman’s immense power. Tyrant ruler of the grim detritus-strangled planet of Apokolips, attended by the likes of the Parademons and Female Furies, Darkseid is eager to extend his authority beyond the groveling Apokoliptian minions. His subsequent attempts to subjugate Earth have been blocked by Superman.
