Batman, the legendary character of film, television, radio, and comic books now becomes complete with three of his most formidable foes: The Joker, The Scarecrow, and Two-Face!
These 2 inch figure feature all the coolness and articulation of his larger counterpart at 1/3 the size. Each features 5 points of articulation and 1,000 points of fun!
Batman: Early in The Dark Knight, Batman interrupts a disorganized three-way melee between Chechen, the Scarecrow and a handful of bumbling Batman impersonators; he decides afterwards that his original costume is weighing him down. Looking for a lighter costume that will provide him with a greater range of head movement, Bruce Wayne consults with Lucius Fox. Relying upon detective skills, gadgetry, and honed fighting prowess, Batman discovers his greatest adversary in the form of the Joker.
The Joker: Having brazenly preyed upon Gotham’s scrabble crime bosses, the Joker offers to eliminate Batman for a price. The Chechen and Maroni eventually accept the offer. By placing various hostages in peril, constructing seemingly untenable predicaments, the Joker pits the residents of Gotham against Batman and against themselves in the course of forcing Batman to reveal his secret identity.
Scarecrow: In Batman Begins, unscrupulous psychiatrist Jonathan Crane works in concert with Carmine Falcone, declaring Falcone’s thugs insane as a means of transferring them to Arkham Asylum. Simultaneously, Crane uses his patients as test subjects for his fear toxin, developed in coordination with Ra’s al Ghul, avoiding the effects of the toxin by means of a crude burlap mask with a built-in rebreather. Later, when Falcone himself becomes a liability, he is exposed to the toxin and is driven insane by the sight of Crane’s mask.
Two-Face: In The Dark Knight, Harvey Dent is portrayed as Gotham’s new District Attorney, intent upon the eradication of the city’s organized crime. To do this Dent forms an alliance with Jim Gordon and Batman. Both Dent and his fiancée Rachel Dawes are captured, separated, and placed in vicinity of timed explosives. Dent is rescued but horrifically disfigured while Rachel is killed. Succumbing to grief and madness, Dent, under the influence of the Joker, becomes Two-Face.
