The House of 1000 Corpses: Captain Spaulding Living Dead Doll measures 10” tall, features love/hate hand tattoos and skull-faced bowtie, and is clad in an elaborate reproduction of Captain Spalding’s garish clown costume. Captain Spaulding spends a fair amount of time chatting idly with the locals, snaking busted toilets, and firing heavy caliber rounds into the skulls of would-be armed robbers. With faintly surreal panache, Captain Spalding dutifully conducts tourists through the world-famous Murder Ride and hands out complimentary fried chicken, but if you’re really, really persistent, he’ll furnish you with directions to the fabled tree where local madman Doctor Satan was hanged. And if you should, by happenstance, encounter the Firefly clan on the way to the hanging tree, Captain Spaulding is definitely not responsible for any massacre that may ensue.
