Green Man: Green Man is equipped with a projecting flame-like construct. The Green Lantern of Sector 2828, Green Man is prevented from reentering his native star system due to a pact between the Guardians and the Psions of Vega which precludes the presence of Green Lanterns. He is later discharged from the corps for returning to the Vega system. He survives his apparent death and is ultimately recruited as a member of the Alpha Lantern Corps.
Sinestro: Green Lantern Sinestro is equipped with a saw blade construct. A green Lantern of Sector 1417, Sinestro greets Hal Jordan with hostility and disdain, characterizing Hal Jordan as a poor replacement for the renowned Abin Sur and expressing his distaste for Earthlings in general. He spars with Jordan briefly, easily defeating him. However, he is ultimately inspired by Jordan’s courage and is prompted to rescue the exhausted Jordan after the final battle with Parallax.
Hal Jordan: Hal Jordan is equipped with a bladed construct. Selected as Abin Sur’s successor, Hal Jordan is transported to the crash site of Abin Sur’s space ship, and is told to speak the Green Lantern oath in conjunction with the green lantern. He is later transformed into the Green Lantern and transported to Oa where he encounters a cordial Tomar-Re, a belligerent Kilowog, and a contemptuous Sinestro.
Hannu: Green Lantern Hannu is equipped with a bludgeon-like construct. Indigenous to Ovacron 6, Hannu is the Green Lantern of Sector 2. He is among the corpsmen assembled to defeat the renegade Hal Jordan. As it is considered dishonorable by his culture to utilize weapons in battle, Hannu primarily uses his ring for flight and life support and fights hand-to-hand; he finally utilizes the ring in battle against the Anti-Monitor.
