Each 3 ¾” 2010 JLU Singles figure features multiple points of articulation and a character-specific accessory if applicable. Future Superman is clad in a black and silver costume, with the tentacled, one-eyed Starro spore grafted into his torso. The starfish-like Starro manufactures its spores as a means of attacking a victim’s central nervous system and transforming the victim into a host. In the Batman Beyond two-part episode, “The Call”, a future incarnation of the Justice League is revealed; Superman, recruiting Batman for the purpose of purging traitors from the ranks of the League, is revealed to be the ostensible traitor, the latter having succumbed to Starro’s influence.
