Starman (Jack Knight) is clad in civilian attire with green goggles, and is equipped with his golden Cosmic Staff. Reluctantly at first, Jack Knight inherited the mantle of Starman from his father, Ted Knight, the original Star Man. An artifact designed to replicate the original Starman’s gravity rods, the Cosmic Staff provides Jack Knight with flight and levitation ability, and energy absorption/manipulation capability which in turn enables Knight to fire powerful energy blasts.
