The 12” Peter Venkman is clad in his Ghostbusters jumpsuit, and is equipped with proton pack accessory. Following the dismissal of Venkman, Ray, and Egon from the university where the three perform parapsychological research, Venkman convinces Ray and Egon to capitalize on their theorized method of apprehending and containing ghosts. Venkman later takes a personal interest in the Ghostbusters’ first customer, Dana Barrett, though he is initially unable to uncover evidence of the entity, Zuul, who haunts Dana’s 55 Central Park West apartment. Venkman later encounters the Zuul-possessed Dana, and loosely spearheads the Ghostbusters’ assault on the Central Park West apartment building, which is revealed to encompass a shrine dedicated to Gozer the Gozerian.
