Sculpted by the Four Horsemen, The Movie Masters: Scarecrow features multiple points of articulation and a cloth version of his mask. In the original movie, unscrupulous psychiatrist Jonathan Crane works in concert with Carmine Falcone, declaring Falcone’s thugs insane as a means of transferring them to Arkham Asylum. Simultaneously, Crane uses his patients as test subjects for his fear toxin, developed in coordination with Ra’s al Ghul, avoiding the effects of the toxin by means of a crude burlap mask with a built-in rebreather. Later, when Falcone himself becomes a liability, he is exposed to the toxin and is driven insane by the sight of Crane’s mask.
