Mattel's new case assortments contain mainly older figures and a very limited quantity of the newer figures. Aquaman: This is a version of Aquaman with both hands intact. Eerily similar to Gregg Allman in appearance, this Aquaman is a somewhat more contemplative and morose character, loosely affiliated with the Justice League but also shown in the company of Doctor Fate and the expatriated Hawkgirl. Aquaman is capable of breathing both air and water and is likewise granted a number of superhuman abilities in both extremes.
Stargirl originated as an inheritor of the Star-Spangled Kid identity, and then became Stargirl upon her acquisition of Starman’s Cosmic Staff---the latter of which endowed her with much greater power. In the Justice League Unlimited continuity, Stargirl has been shown to work alongside her robot-armored partner, S.T.R.I.P.E., participating in missions as grave as the repulsion of Darkseid’s forces.
This version of Parasite is a purple-skinned, non-mutated version of Rudy Jones. He was far and away one of the most interesting villains on the Superman cartoon, evolving from a low-level crook into one of Superman’s most menacing adversaries. Later, in the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited continuities, Parasite was recruited by Gorilla Grodd to join both the Secret Society and the updated version of the Legion of Doom.
