The Steel figure includes sledgehammer accessory and a diorama. Well-articulated, he looks to be a pretty good interpretation of the character. Steel is sheathed inside an angular-sculpt suit of super-armor fitted with an additional exterior breastplate. The armor assists Steel with a number of superhuman abilities such as augmented strength and flight capability.
A disillusioned weapons designer, John Henry Irons migrated to Metropolis and was stirred by the heroism of Superman. He developed his armor and became Steel (also becoming known as the “Man of Steel”) shortly after Doomsday succeeded in destroying Superman, adding to the ranks of a number of heroes active during Superman’s auspicious absence from Metropolis.
