The variant Superman features an emblem with the red “S” standing against a black background---similar in appearance to the Kingdom Come Superman’s costume. The Superman figure includes a diorama. Superman is bulky and well-articulated, and fitted with what looks to be a molded plastic cape. Atypically, Superman features a resplendent super-expression.
Jettisoned from the doomed planet of Krypton, the infant Superman’s ultimate destination was the planet Earth. He was raised as Clark Kent, and in time he inherited a monstrous arsenal of superhuman abilities---abilities which Superman fortuitously reserved for the betterment and preservation of mankind. Superman’s selfless transformation into the paragon of superheroes understandably brought a whole slate of loonies, such as Lex Luthor, Brainiac and the Parasite, out of the woodwork.
