Batman has experienced battle damage multiple times during his career. One of the most notable times was the time in which he fought his way through a whole gauntlet of villains only to confront a Venom-pumped Bane. So, in the third wave of the DC Superheroes, prepare for a new battle damaged Batman.
How much damage, you might ask? Well, a fair amount by all indications. Enough damage to necessitate a whole new figure. Batman’s been off-camera, brawling with his old Venom-pumping enemy Bane again. To make matters worse, Killer Croc showed up as a special guest---very quickly the whole thing turned into a one-sided tag team cage-match. Scarecrow showed up to kick Batman while he was down. Fortunately, none of this matters, because Batman has put just about everyone in the hurt locker at one time or another.
So, whenever you see a battle damaged Batman, the usual thought progression is, hey, I wonder what the other guy looks like. And that’s the exact case here. Batman is busted up a little, but Bane is in traction, Croc’s cleaning the toilets at Arkham, and they’re still looking for pieces of Scarecrow.
