The TIE Fighter Pilot ArtFX Statue measures 11 ¼”; the statue kit includes additional parts to equip the TIE Fighter Pilot with a BlasTech E-11 Blaster, and a separate piece/display configurable MSE-6 Mouse Droid. Featuring a large scale and impeccable paint applications, the ARTFX TIE Fighter Pilot Statue is a snap-fit kit that can be easily assembled without glue or modeling skill. The TIE Fighter Pilot is clad in a black flight suit; thick black life support hoses link the grim black helmet to the mechanized chest-borne component. Identified by numbers rather than names, TIE Fighter Pilots are a prime example of Imperial cannon fodder. TIE Fighters are constructed for swarm effectiveness, individually offering very little by way of defensive protection. For the garden variety TIE Fighter Pilot, life expectancy is generally low and completely thankless---although death by dogfight and/or space-borne misadventure is arguably preferable to remaining aboard the Death Star and becoming victim to Darth Vader’s force choke maneuver.
