The X-Wing Fighter Cross Section 3-D Vehicle Model Kit Set is presented in 1/35 military scale and measures 12 2/3” long, and features “cutaway” parts that remove to reveal inner workings. The set features over 100 removable parts to assist in the three-dimensional cross section effect. The X-Wing Fighter set is comprised of the following six sets of component parts: Wing Set, Wing Shaft Set A, Wing Shaft Set B, Nose Cone Set, Cockpit Set and Body Set. These individual sets include an expansive array of mini figures and diorama components--- X-Wing Pilots, Astromech units, cables and missile loaders and such---sufficient to intricately recreate the hidden hangar base on Yavin IV. The X-Wing is an answer to the standard TIE Fighter. The X-Wing features single fire, dual fire or even quad fire. Luke Skywalker made excellent use of the X-Wing during the battle of Yavin, during which he deftly evaded TIE Fighters and maneuvered along the trenches of the Death Star in order to deliver the fatal shot to the Death Star’s reactor.
