A powerful upgrade with a triangular chestplate, the Mark VI armor is derived from Tony Stark’s synthesization of the new element which replaces his dependency upon palladium. In addition to the weaponry inherit to the Mark III and Mark IV versions, the Mark VI armor is equipped with a grenade launcher and a cataclysmically powerful, single-use laser weapon. Iron Man donned the Mark VI armor in an attempt to foil the mass attack launched by Ivan Vanko.
