A slavering mutant with massive needle-like teeth and forearm-situated blades, Baraka was introduced as a loyal minion of Shao Khan; he would later be designated as a member of the nomadic Tarkata species, a mixture of Outland denizen and Netherrealm demon. In the 2011 Mortal Kombat, Baraka survives the Ritual of Blood and ascends to the rank of Enforcer, a favored servant of Shao Khan. Baraka’s signature moves include Chop-Chop Blades, Blade Swipe and the Blade Spin, and his Fatalities include Blade Decapitation, Blade Lift and Mutant Dissection.
