Street Fighter 4” Classics Two-Packs Series 01: Case of 6 following two-packs (subject to change):
3x Ryu Vs. Sagat
3x Ken Vs. Blanka
Ryu Vs. Sagat:
Ryu is dressed in his sleeveless white karate suit and sparring gauntlets. Acquiring the Ansatsuken technique from Master Gouken, Ryu fights his way through the first World Warrior tournament, working his way up to the tournament’s current champion, Sagat. Ryu succeeds in defeating Sagat, scarring Sagat’s chest and belittling Sagat’s warrior pride. During the follow-up tournament Ryu encounters Sagat yet again, and is ultimately pitted against M. Bison.
Clad in blue trunks, Sagat is marked with his trademark diagonal chest/abdomen scar. Sagat is dethroned as the king of Muay Thai at the end of the first World Tournament. Shamed and permanently scarred, Sagat eventually falls in with M. Bison and the Shadoloo organization. Later, Sagat’s former student, Adon, ridicules the ex-champion over his defeat at the hands of Ryu. Sagat later elects to leave Shadoloo, prompting Bison to arrange a battle between Sagat and a brain-washed Ryu; in order to avoid further effacement to his honor, Sagat participates only long enough to break Bison’s mind control.
Ken Vs. Blanka:
Ken is dressed in his sleeveless red karate suit and sparring gauntlets. Originally spoiled and selfish, Ken is sent to Japan to study under the renowned master Gouken, in the course of which Ken is befriended by Gouken’s adopted son, Ryu. After participating in a handful of tournaments, Ken returns to Japan just in time to witness Gouken’s death at the hands of Akuma, and is himself defeated by Akuma. Later, regaining his discipline with the assistance of Ryu, Ken enters the second Street Fighter tournament.
The ferocious Blanka features his default green skin/red hair color scheme. Blanka’s monstrous strength and reflexes are reinforced by tooth and claw, his prowess further intensified by his ability to generate bioelectric discharge. Blanka makes a brief appearance in Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie, in which he was theatrically unleashed from a tiger cage and set against a Zangief; rebounding from Zangief’s Spinning Piledriver, Blanka latches onto Zangief and defeated the Russian with his Electric Shock.
