Nick Fury, the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. comes to life in this movie-accurate figure; specially crafted using the image of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. Featuring a newly developed head sculpt, finely detailed costume, weapons and accessories, the Avengers - Nick Fury Sixth Scale Limited Edition Collectible Figure makes a fantastic addition to any Marvel collection.
Acting on behalf of S.H.I.E.L.D., Nick Fury places the covert Natasha Romanoff in Stark Industries as a means of monitoring the unstable Tony Stark. After Stark’s drunken battle against Rhodes enables the latter to provide the military with the Mark II armor, Fury berates Stark for his excesses and provides him with the materials which allow Stark to replace his dependency upon palladium. Later, as a means of neutralizing Loki and the Chitauri invasion, Fury assembles the Avengers. Though the Avengers are initially unruly and ill-fitting, Fury uses the death of Agent Phil Coulson at the hands of Loki to galvanize the Avengers, enabling them to counter Loki and the Chitauri invasion. Fury defends the Avengers and refuses to comply with an order to unleash a nuclear strike on New York City. After his field authority is superseded, Fury uses a rocket launcher to prevent the take-off of the first jet, although his misses the second one, however once the missile is launched it its guided by Iron Man through the Chitauri portal, destroying the latter’s mother ship, ultimately vindicating Fury’s argument.
