III figure features the muscular body developed by Hot Toys, which features over 22 points of articulation. The Rambo figure is fully poseable, and features an extremely detailed and authentic gear set. The figure is complete with a sturdy display base w/ the Rambo III logo and a Rambo nameplate.
In Rambo III, Rambo is forced to invade Afghanistan when his official go-between Colonel Trautman is captured by the Soviets. Initially, Trautman locates Rambo in Thailand, where Rambo has parleyed his considerable experience into a career as a pick-up fighter, the winnings of which he donates to a local monastery. Trautman hopes to enlist Rambo to lead a covert strike against a Soviet-occupied fortress, but Rambo---a new contemplative and pseudo-pacifistic Rambo---refuses, having finally washed his hands of casualty-laden blood-and-guts missions. Trautman decides to lead the mission, and is consequently captured by the Soviets. Armed with a mixture of improvised and modernized weaponry, Rambo expeditiously launches a rescue mission, racking up more kills than the first two films combined.
