Movie Masterpiece Battle Damaged ED-209 stands 15” tall. The ED-209 is a bulky mech mounted atop sturdy legs with splayed feet. Outcropping shoulder plates are jointed above thick gun-mounted arms. With its machinegun and twin-launcher firepower, the ED-209 was a formidable opponent---unless of course you were to lead one of them on a chase down a staircase. Also, the ED’s aren’t much of a match for the Cobra Assault Cannon. This version of the ED-209 is sporting a warped arm with a dismembered gun appendage.
The Enforcement Droid 209 was an ultimate abortive attempt by OCP to generate automated replacements for the uncooperative Detroit police force. But, unfortunately, when they brought an ED-209 upstairs to demonstrate the robot’s prowess to the corporate board, the ED-209 inadvertently drummed one of the OCP executives with 20mm machinegun fire until the exec looked like a roast beef sandwich gone horribly wrong. When Robocop attempted to apprehend OCP executive Dick Jones, he was crippled by Directive 4 and then set upon by the ED-209.
