Imported from Japan! UFO Robot Grendizer is a robot created by the mangaka Go Nagai during the 1970s. With an elaborate storyline, more mature and complex characters compared to others of its era, UFO Robot Grendizer was an immediate success and a milestone in Japanese animation. High Dream offers the 6' tall Grendizer Metaltech01 die-cast figure, this one a limited edition Chrome-finish repaint.
In UFO Robot Grendizer, the tyrannical King Vega leaves behind a ravaged non-sustaining homeworld to propagate the Vegan empire by dominating other worlds such as the innocuous planet of Fleed. In the ensuing assault, waged by the monsters and robots comprising the Fleed army, the planet of Fleed is laid to waste. Prince Duke Fleed, representing the last of the royal family, commandeers the Super Robot Grendizer, a manifestation representing the Fleedian God of War.
