Ripclaw’s cobra-like speed enables him to inject her prey with circuit-destroying mech-venom. Upon emergence from the Hyperevolution Chamber, Ripclaw learns of the continued existence of Predaking and the enemies, the Autobots, who threaten him with a recently-acquired array of powerful weapons. Ripclaw escapes the facility and embarks on a mission to locate the weapons. In the course of her search she encounters Lazerback who purposely misleads her, telling her that Predaking has been destroyed and that the Decepticons, as equally complicit as the Autobots, should be hunted and destroyed.
