Measuring approximately 2” tall, each Avengers Super Squad figure features a childlike aesthetic, limited articulation, and character-specific weapons/accessories.
The Avengers Superhero Squad Series 01: Secret Invasion includes the following figures:
Hawkeye: Hawkeye’s preferred weapon is the longbow, utilizing both ordinary arrows or specialized arrowheads containing grapnels or explosives. In Thor he briefly was a likable S.H.I.E.L.D. sharpshooter who is impressed by Thor’s tenacity. He is later recruited as a member of the Avengers, pitted against Loki and the Chitauri.
The Hulk: Hounded by the military, Bruce Banner resurfaces as an anonymous employee of a bottling factory in Rio de Janeiro; however, a tiny drop of his blood taints an outgoing bottle, enabling Thunderbolt Ross to acquire his location. He is later recruited as a member of the Avengers, and is unleashed against the onslaught of Chitauri invaders summoned by Loki.
Loki: Envious of his brother, Loki manipulates the Frost Giants of Jotunheim into trespassing the Asgardian vault to reacquire the Casket of Ancient Winters. He later goads Thor into invading Jotunheim, shattering the tentative truce established by Odin. Exiled into the abyss generated by a rift in the Bifröst Bridge, Loki later utilizes the Tesseract to escape and enlist the aid of Chitauri invaders.
