Utilizing the Deluxe Class Transformers United UN-22 G2 Laser Optimus Prime (with the modified peg in the right shoulder allowing free range of movement), Shattered Glass Optimus Prime coverts from a compact truck cab into a Gen 2-reminiscent robot mode and a translucent yellow sword. An incident in Sector 17 of the Mirtonian Quadrant leaves Optimus Prime severely damaged and abandoned by his followers. Narrowly succeeding in locating a CR Chamber he acquires a new body which provides him with heightened strength and enhanced processing power, and acquires a new weapon, his Q-Metal sword which is capable of felling an opponent with a single swipe. The powerful upgrades fuel Prime’s madness, convincing him that he is indestructible. He returns to Polyhex to reestablish his authority, brutally destroying those who left him for dead.

Kick-Over converts from a sports car into a robot mode with a handheld cannon which can be combined with the adjustable speakers built into the wing-like car doors. Captured by the Decepticons, Kick-Over is forced to battle against fellow Autobots in the gladiatorial pit of Polyhex, before finally leading a mass escape. His vendetta against the Decepticons makes it difficult for him to accept the Shattered Glass Decepticons as fellow heroes. Kick-Out is an inordinately skilled hand-to-hand combatant, and when his amplifiers are combined with his sonic blaster he creates sonic vibrations capable of disrupting molecular bonds.
