Shock Strike Thor is equipped with a standard version of Mjolnir and a projectile-firing version. Thor returns from Asgard shortly after the original capture of Loki, relieving Captain America and Iron Man of custody and transporting Loki to a neutral location to attempt to reason with him (Loki). Loki divulges his alliance with the Chitauri invaders and confesses that the Tesseract is now beyond his grasp. Iron Man launches an attack against Thor, initially sustaining damage from the striking power of Mjolnir and then gaining a power surge from Thor’s lightning attack which temporarily gains Iron Man an upper hand. Arriving belatedly, Captain America serves as a mediator.
