Spider-Man & Captain Britain: Spider-Man is clad in his classic blue and red costume. Spider-Man is imbued with enhanced strength, speed and reflexes, and a precognitive spider-sense that works against virtually any opponent. Captain Britain is clad in his original red and gold costume, and is equipped with scepter accessory. Imbued with superhuman strength, heightened stamina and durability, Captain Britain is one manifestation of the mystically-imbued Captain Britain Corps, a band of superheroes sometimes maneuvered between alternate realities. A misunderstanding generated the battle between Spider-Man and Captain Britain, precipitating the capture of the two heroes by Arcade.
Bullseye & Daredevil: Bullseye is clad in his classic dark blue and white costume. Bullseye’s unusual prowess with projectiles enables him to transform even the most innocuous object into a deadly weapon. A psychotic assassin, Bullseye is specifically obsessed with the defeat and destruction of his archenemy, Daredevil. Daredevil is clad in a red uniform and is equipped with Billy Club accessory. Accidentally blinded by radioactive substance, Matt Murdock developed a sort of radar sense that provided him with unique abilities and enabled him, with intensive training, to develop an extremely effective fighting style.
Gambit vs. Mr. Sinister: The trench coat-clad Gambit is equipped with his staff. Gambit’s mutant ability allows him to charge throwing projectiles with kinetic energy. In addition to the X-Men, Gambit has been affiliated with the Marauders and the Thieves’ Guild, and also served as Death in the third incarnation of the Horsemen of Apocalypse. Mr. Sinister is clad in his scalloped blue armor, and high-collared, red-lined cape. Mr. Sinister was initially introduced as the leader of the Marauders, and formed the overshadowing element of the Inferno storyline. Genetic enhancements provide Mr. Sinister with drastically enhanced physical characteristics, along with telepathy and telekinesis.
Thanos & Adam Warlock: Thanos is clad in his blue and gold costume. Thanos was an Eternal born with dark, unexplainable deformities. The Infinity Gauntlet, studded with the six Infinity Gems, enabled Thanos to gain mastery of universal aspects including Time, Space, Mind, Soul, Reality, and Power; with the gauntlet at his disposal Thanos endeavored to finally win the vacillating favor of his would-be girlfriend Death by obliterating vast swaths of sentient life forms. Adam Warlock is clad in a black and burgundy costume, with a yellow-lined cape. Adam Warlock led an assembly of superheroes against Thanos, although the latter defeated most of the heroes easily and subsequently defeated the Cosmic Pantheon.
