Each Marvel Legends 2012: Series 02 figure features multiple points of articulation and character-specific accessories, and is accompanied by one of the pieces required to assemble the Build-A-Figure Arnim Zola.
Big Time Spider-Man is clad in his black costume with what appears to be a modified glow-in-the-dark spider insignia patterned after the cover of Amazing Spider-Man #650. The “Spider-Man: Big Time” storyline initially pits Spider-Man against a new version of the Hobgoblin with modified equipment. Alistair Smythe later gains entry to the Raft to free Mac Gargan, transforming the latter into a cybernetically-enhanced version of the Scorpion, and utilizes cybernetic implants to create an army of Spider-Slayers. Constructing a bomb to neutralize the Spider-Slayers’ spider-sense-like ability, Spider-Man inadvertently sustains the loss of his own spider-sense.
