The Star Wars Darth Maul Double-Bladed Lightsaber features button-activated blades which can be deployed to a maximum length of five feet.
Darth Maul was the apprentice of Darth Sidious, subjected to grueling training and held accountable to harsh discipline intended to scour away all traces of weakness or conscience. Maul was transformed into a nearly mindless killer driven by the singular objective of tracking and reacquiring Queen Amidala, in the course of which he was pitted against Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn. Maul’s lightsaber technique was honed into a two-pronged attack capability, which he utilized in instances when multiple opponents were involved.
