2012 Star Wars Transformers Class II Wave 0.5: Darth Vader / Interceptor Tie Fighter converts from a sleek black and blue vehicle mode into a robot mode equipped with two shields and two red lightsabers. The TIE Interceptor features a spherical cockpit chamber framed by wing panels which are inverted and configured with panel gaps to allow for increased peripheral sight. Powered by P-s5.6 twin ion engines, the original TIE Interceptor was armed with SFS L-s9.3 laser cannons, and was later refit to include blaster cannons as well. In his relentless quest to destroy the Rebellion, Darth Vader transforms his TIE into a massive robot, thoroughly pulverizing Rebel vessels wherever he finds them.
