The Shock Troopers are the elite troops of Emperor Palpatine, serving as Palpatine’s personal guard on Coruscant and elsewhere. In Revenge of the Sith, Shock Troopers were ordered to capture Yoda as the latter was forced to withdraw from the personal duel with Palpatine, and were also shown accompanying Palpatine to Mustafar in order to collect the scorched and wounded remains of Darth Vader.
