Marvel Legends 2012: Series 01: Set of 7 with Terrax Build-A-Figure includes the following figures:
1x Commander Steve Rogers (Captain America)
1x Extremis Iron Man
1x Marvel's Klaw
1x Ghost Rider
1x Heroic Age Thor
1x Constrictor
1x X-Men's Hope Summers
Commander Steve Rogers (Captain America): Originally deemed unfit for service, Steve Rogers volunteers for the experimental Super Soldier Serum and is reconstituted into Captain America, a master tactician and one of the most skilled physical combatants in the Marvel universe. During the Heroic Age storyline Steve Rogers is appointed to replace the deranged Norman Osborn as the United States’ head of security. Following the dissolution of the Superhuman Registration Act, Rogers reactivates the Avengers, and serves as the leader of the Secret Avengers.
Extremis Iron Man: Extremis Iron Man is clad in sculptured red and gold armor. Constructed as a housing for the transistorized chest plate used to save Tony Stark, the original Iron Man Armor provides Stark with flight capability, heightened strength and durability, and a variety of onboard weapons. When Tony Stark is injected with Extremis the resulting nanotechnological virus heightens his mental capacity and his abilities, reconstituting his body and enabling him to cybernetically interface with his armor and other forms of technology.
Marvel's Klaw: Klaw is outfitted with his sound generator appendage which enables him to him to generate numbing blasts and destructive sound waves. In his frenzy to power his sound transducer device, Ulysses Klaw ransacks Wakanda to obtain Vibranium, killing the Wakandan ruler, T’Chaka. Klaw is subsequently maimed by T’Chaka’s vengeful son, T’Challa. Harnessing the plundered Vibranium, Klaw is transformed into a creature composed of solidified sound, his dismembered hand replaced by his powerful sound generator appendage.
Ghost Rider: Ghost Rider is outfitted with chains and spike-laden armor with translucent blue flame radiating from the head and shoulders. Wandering into a junkyard, Daniel Ketch discovers a motorcycle bearing a sigil which transforms him into a new incarnation of Ghost Rider. He later learns that he and the previous Ghost Rider, Johnny Blaze, are in fact brothers and inheritors of a mystical curse which linked them to the Spirits of Vengeance. Wielding a mystic flame and magic-infused chain, Ghost Rider possesses superhuman strength and durability, and inflicts his Penance Stare upon his prey.
Heroic Age Thor: Equipped with a larger Mjolnir, the mail-clad Heroic Age Thor is a new version of the character reunified with human host Donald Blake. The New Thor is preoccupied with the tasks of rebuilding Asgard on Earth and recovering his fellow Asgardians. More or less reconciling with Tony Stark, Thor accepts the latter’s offer to establish Asgard as a foreign embassy. Thor is able to retrieve all of his fellow Asgardians from their respective mortal hosts, finally rescuing Sif from the influence of a Loki-engineered enchantment.
Constrictor: Clad in his classic costume, the Constrictor is equipped with his trademark metal coils. The Constrictor originates as a S.H.I.E.L.D. operative portraying a super villain as a means of infiltrating the Corporation. He suffers a breakdown which transforms him into an actual super villain equipped with cybernetically-maintained whiplike coils capable of generating electric shocks. The Constrictor is introduced as a Hulk villain, and is later affiliated with super villain teams including the Frightful Four, the Masters of Evil, and the Sinister Syndicate.
X-Men's Hope Summers: Clad in a green and yellow costume with tattered scarf/cape, X-Men’s Hope Summers is equipped with a massive rifle. Hope Summers’ mutant power enables her to mimic the abilities of any mutants within comparative proximity. She is the first mutant born after the Decimation, taken into the protective custody of Cable. She later leads a mission to locate the Five Lights, five new mutants detected by Cerebro; Hope’s powers enable her to assist each new mutant in overcoming debilitating side effects and completing a transformative process.
Build-A-Figure Terrax: Terrax is equipped with his cosmic scythe. Originally known as Tyros, despot of Lanlak on the planetoid Birj, Terrax is capable of manipulating rock and earth. Selected by Galactus as his new Herald, Tyros is initially humbled by a defeat at the hands of the Fantastic Four. Infused with the vastly heightened attributes typically imparted to Heralds of Galactus, Terrax the Tamer outlives his usefulness after a comparatively brief tenure. Ultimately defeated and depowered, Terrax is recruited by Doctor Doom, the latter temporarily restoring a portion of Terrax’s cosmic power.
Pieces to build the Terrax Build-A-Figure are included as well.
