Marvel Universe 3.75” figures are comparable to their larger Marvel Legends counterparts in terms of aesthetic and articulation. The Absorbing Man is characteristically clad in prison-issue trousers and has a ball-and-chain weapon. The Absorbing Man initially gained his powers via an Asgardian elixir provided by Loki. Though conceived as an adversary of Thor, the Absorbing Man participated in the Secret Wars, and expanded his reign of villainy to include opponents such as Spider-Man, the Avengers, and even the Hulk. The Absorbing Man is capable of absorbing and mimicking any substance he touches, and is capable of assimilating superhuman attributes such as the strength of the Hulk.
