A practiced thief and a formidable hand-to-hand combatant, Storm is imbued with mutant abilities that allow her to manipulate various weather conditions including precipitation, temperature and lightning. She can also manipulate some varieties of pollution and even a small array of space-borne conditions. Storm was initially called in as a second wave of X-Men, part of a group of reinforcements rallied by Xavier to rescue the original members from the living island, Krakoa.
