The Captain America Ultimate Vehicle: Strikefire Transport is a six-wheeled vehicle outfitted with three launchers and four missiles, and is accompanied by a motorcycle and a standard 3.75” Captain America figure (which can alternately operate the transport’s cockpit and turret); missile launchers can be posted at various locations on the transport and ramps can be unfolded from the sides of the transport to deploy the motorcycle. Barred from enlistment in the U.S. Army, the sickly Steve Rogers volunteers for the military-funded Project: Rebirth, and is transformed into the super solider Captain America. Initially used as a somewhat clownish mascot to promote war bonds, Captain America is transported behind enemy lines by Peggy Carter and Howard Stark, and successfully infiltrates a HYDRA facility to rescue Bucky Barnes and the latter’s fellow soldiers.
