Marvel Universe 3.75” figures are comparable to their larger Marvel Legends counterparts in terms of aesthetics and articulation. Outfitted with external web shooters, Scarlet Spider is clad in a blue and red costume similar to that of Spider-Man. The first of the series of clones created by the Jackal, the Scarlet Spider was a Spider-Man clone intended to eliminate the original Spider-Man. Surviving his battle with Spider-Man, the Scarlet Spider assumed the alter ego Ben Reilly and remained dormant for a few years before becoming a superhero. Like Spider-Man, the Scarlet Spider is imbued with drastically enhanced strength, speed and reflexes, is capable of clinging to virtually any surface, and possesses a precognitive spider-sense which warns him of immediate danger.
