Superhero Squad Movie Three-Packs Series 02: Battle in the Frozen Land includes the following figures:
Ice Giant: The blue-skinned Ice Giant is equipped with a massive sword. Residing in the frozen wastes of Jotunheim, Ice Giants/Frost Giants follow their king, Laufey, in the failed conquest of the nine realms. Losing their central weapon, the Casket of Ancient Winters, to King Odin, the Frost Giants agree to a tentative truce. Later, however, they are manipulated by Loki into an attempt to reclaim the Casket. During Thor’s subsequent assault on Jotunheim, Thor and his companions are nearly overwhelmed by the giants.
Sif: Topped with a winged headdress, Sif is clad in a red costume with an ankle-length cape, and is equipped with a small sword. Sif, one of Thor’s loyal fighting companions, participated in Thor’s assault on Jotunheim. Sif and the companions secretly journeyed to Earth to retrieve Thor, discovering that Thor had been separated from Mjolnir and transformed into a mortal. The companions banded together to confront the gigantic Destroyer; Sif is noteworthy in that she succeeded in climbing atop the Destroyer and driving her blade into the Destroyer’s spine.
Thor: Thor’s ascension to the throne is interrupted by the Frost Giants’ attempt to steal their former weapon, the Casket of Ancient Winters. Disregarding the council of his father, Odin, the overzealous Thor leads an assault on the giants’ realm, Jotunheim, instigating war between the Frost Giants and the Asgardians. Thor is stripped of his power and banished to Earth. Here he regains his mastery of the power-imbuing Mjolnir only after sacrificing himself to defend Earth’s populace against the monstrous Destroyer. Briefly coordinating with S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, Thor announces himself as Earth’s ally and protector. Upon his return to Asgard, Thor confronts the manipulative Loki, and ultimately foils the latter’s scheme to indiscriminately annihilate Jotunheim.
